Hi there! I saw your article online and it’s nice to know that there are more of “us” out there than I thought. Some of the stuff is so funny and so easy to relate to–especially about getting together for gatherings.
When we planned our first thanksgiving dinner, it was quite an eye opener. Because we were hosting dinner at our house, he had made plans to prepare the entire spread from the appetizers to main course to dessert.
When I told him that it was going to be a potluck, he went into shock. After much convincing that it is common for friends and family to do that here, he finally gave in and agreed to let it flow that way. Now, every get together is a potluck!
