I sent my daughter the advertiser article and website address since she married a haole boy from Kentucky. I thoroughly enjoyed the article and I would like to share with you something that happened within my family.
My Uncle and Aunty in Hilo (both Japanese) had three children, cousins Melvin, Margo and Marcia (notice the M’s) and they adopted a little haole boy named Michael.
Well, too make a long story short….Melvin, Margo and Marcia all married haole’s and guess what??? Michael married a Hawaiian Hilo girl, a former Miss Hilo. Cute yeah!!!!
